The Lutheran spirit of the German Bishops

German Bishop Conference (Taken from the website of the SSPX)

As we are all aware; the Bishops of Germany are pushing for doctrinal and dogmatic change within the Church and even uphold that the spirit of Luther should be present at the synod of the family (as if it weren’t already).
This should not be a surprise considering the fact that we have been in this situation before with Germany and its heretical revolution in 1517 when the apostate, Martin Luther, has chosen to abandon and object to the Catholic and Apostolic Faith and establish his own heterodox sect.

His Eminence, Cardinal Mueller, has made it well known that:

“tendency of German bishops to divide doctrine from pastoral practice is not unlike the abuses surrounding the Protestant split in 1517. One should ‘be very vigilant and not forget the lesson of Church history”.

Being that we live in a age in which we are told to leave behind our differences and co exist we must consider why this is a grave matter.

Pope Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum (# 9), June 29, 1896:

“You are not to be looked upon as holding the true Catholic faith if you do not teach that the faith of Rome is to be held.”

It is a dogma of the Church that there is no salvation outside of Her.

Pope Eugene IV, The Athanasian Creed, Council of Florence, Sess. 8, Nov. 22, 1439, ex cathedra:

“Whoever wishes to be saved, needs above all to hold the Catholic faith; unless each one preserves this whole and inviolate, he will without a doubt perish in eternity.”
Henceforth: this is a damnable situation. My fellow non Traditional Catholics would say that we should treat their opinions with respect and have a dialogue in which we sugar coat the Catholic faith so that “we may all be one” (clearly taking scripture out of context). Not only is this heretical since it’s pure Americanism and false ecumenism,  it is blasphemous since it suggests that the faith can evolve and contradict dogma; therefore Christ’s doctrine changes within the matter of time.

Being that we are Catholics and uphold scripture to be inerrant and infallible we should take into consideration the following biblical passages:

Hebrews 13:8 :

“Jesus Christ, yesterday, and to day; and the same for ever.”

Matthew 24:35 :

“Heaven and earth shall pass, but my words shall not pass.”

It’s that simple. Since the bishops of Germany are pushing for a Lutheran spirit at the synod I will now initiate a series based upon quotes from the false prophet they advocate for. You guessed it. Martin Luther himself. Stay tuned.
