Since today is that holy feast of that great doctor of the Church, Saint. Alphonsus Ligouri – my patron for the year -, I will like to initiate this article with a quote from his sermon on blasphemy. He states the following:
“What is Blasphemy? It is the Uttering-of Language, Injurious-to God; it is, according-to the Theologians, contumeliosa, in Deum locutio; or, Contumely against God. O God! whom does Man Assail, when he Blasphemes? He Directly Attacks the Lord. “For he hath Stretched-out his hand Against God, and hath Strengthened himself Against the Almighty” – Job 15:25. Are you not Afraid, O Blasphemer, says Saint Ephrem, that Fire will come-down-from Heaven and Devour you? or that the Earth shall Open and Swallow you up? “Non metius ne forte ignis de coelo descendat et devoret te, qui sic os adversus omnipotentem aperis? Neque vereris, ne terra absorbeat?”
While you are reading this, you might be thinking “Okay great we already understand what blasphemy is and how it sends one to Hell for all eternity. What does this have to do with the fact that innocent children are being torn to pieces by the hour?”
If this is running through your mind then you have asked a good question! So lets get started. Planned parenthood is a Neo – Pagan and Freemasonic organization in which promotes the revolution against God’s sacred truths. As you can see, I as a Catholic do not take them lightly. Those who are familiar with Masonic theology are aware that their Neo – Pagan doctrines are centered around pleasing men in order to accomplish a idolatrous and worldly acceptance from the world, therefore their teachings upon “Human dignity”, Religious Liberty (Yes it is a heresy), etc. When we carefully examine the belief system of those at Planned Parenthood, we can clearly see that their revolt against God is equivalent to those of the Freemasons in which involve blasphemous opinions.
Take for example Pro abortionist and feminist Patricia Windle. According to Patricia Baird-Windle, she stated in a interview with Pam Platt – the FLORIDA TODAY Editorial Page Editor, on August 29, 1999 – that abortion is a “sacrament“.. She states the following:
“I now consider abortion to be a major blessing, and to be a sacrament in the hands of women….At the very crucible of the sacrament of abortion work is the sentence in a letter written to me by a woman when I retired, and that is some women have an abortion out of love for the baby.” (It is love for the baby to take their life? This is logically and morally absurd.)
Gloria Marie Steinem – an American feminist, journalist, and social and political activist – in 1956 stated the following:
“It [abortion] is supposed to make us a bad person. But I must say, I never felt that. I used to sit and try and figure out how old the child would be, trying to make myself feel guilty. But I never could! I think the person who said: ‘Honey, if men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament’ was right. Speaking for myself, I knew it was the first time I had taken responsibility for my own life. I wasn’t going to let things happen to me. I was going to direct my life, and therefore it felt positive. But still, I didn’t tell anyone. Because I knew that out there it wasn’t [positive].”
After examining the quotes from above, you can conclude that this is insane blasphemy. The catechism of the Council of Trent defines a sacrament as “outward signs of inward grace, instituted by Christ for our sanctification”. In no way, shape, or form does abortion show outward signs of inward grace instituted by Christ, nor can it sanctify our souls. Its quite the contrary. Since abortion is murder, how can we consider a sinful act that contradicts dogma and the 5th commandment to be a sacrament? Does “Thy shall not kill” no longer apply? Does ““If any one saith, that nothing besides faith is commanded in the Gospel; that other things are indifferent, neither commanded nor prohibited, but free; or, that the ten commandments nowise appertain to Christians; let him be anathema.” from the Council of Trent in Session 6 Canon 19 no longer apply? Maybe they identify this cruel and murderous act to be a ‘sacrament’ because of the fact that this involves the restoration of paganism. Maybe its because the one who instituted these so called ‘sacraments’ was by Satan himself. (Obviously)
Lev 18:21 – “Thou shalt not yield up any child of thine to be devoted to the false god Moloch, doing dishonour to the name of thy God; am I not the Lord?”
When we look into pagan history and the bible itself (2 Chr. 28:3, 33:6; Jer. 7:31, 19:2–6) , pagans would offer child sacrifices to the false god Moloch in order to gain a specific “blessing” from him so that they may receive a worldly achievement in return. This would involve tossing a child into fire and the pagan priests playing a horn over the screams so that the parents would not question the choice that they have made. This was often done within the valley of Jerusalem called Gehenna in which was lit by fire 24/7, therefore Our Lords reference to the fire of Gehenna for Hell in Matthew 18:9.
Is not Planned Parenthood equivalent to the false religion of Moloch? Does not a sacrifice take place in which involves the slaughter of a victim, later resulting in the spilling of blood of a innocent and defenseless child so that the mother can receive the savings of time and money in return? Does not the ‘sacrament’ of abortion mock the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass itself? Does not the mother say “My body, my choice” or “This is my body” in which mocks the words of Consecration? Is there not an altar, a priest, acolytes, and vessels within the rite of abortion, that being the table the mother lays upon, the doctor, the assistant nurses, and the instruments used to murder the innocent child within the womb? If anything, this is the imitation of pure paganism, a false religion. Talk about the separation of Church and state that the liberals push for when this cruel and idolatrous rite is forced upon Catholic Hospitals and secular ones themselves. The following is from Fr. Frank Pavone upon the book ‘The Sacrament of Abortion”.
“The Sacrament of Abortion is the title of a book written by Ginette Paris and published in 1992. In this short book, the author claims that abortion is a sacred act, a sacrifice to Artemis (known to the Romans as Diana).
Artemis is both a protector of wild animals and a hunter who kills them with deadly aim. How can these contradictory roles be found in the same female deity? The view proposed in this book is that a mother properly cares for life only if she possesses full power over life and death. Death is sometimes preferable. The one who can provide death, in order that one may escape an unfriendly life, is really loving the one who is being killed.
Abortion, then, is seen as “an expression of maternal responsibility and not a failure of maternal love” (p.8). “Artemis stands for the refusal to give life if the gift is not pure and untainted….As Artemis might kill a wounded animal rather than allow it to limp along miserably, so a mother wishes to spare the child a painful destiny” (p. 55).
Artemis, of course, is the same goddess whose worshipers felt so threatened by Paul s proclamation of the Gospel in Ephesus, where a riot nearly broke out and a vast crowd shouted for two hours, “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!” (Acts 19:34). The worshipers of Artemis today should likewise feel that their beliefs are threatened, because the proclamation of the Gospel of Christ is that He alone has authority over life and death. Neither the mother, nor the father, nor the state, nor the individual herself, can claim absolute dominion over life. “Nobody lives as his own master, and nobody dies as his own master. While we live, we are responsible to the Lord, and when we die, we die as His servants. Both in life and death, we are the Lord’s” (Rom. 14:7-8).”
